Patient 9: Age 54 years

Procedure: Patient had a mid-abdominal TRAM flap breast reconstruction on the right side.

Post Op Photos: Post op photos taken 3 months from nipple reconstruction and 6 months from TRAM.

Notes: In the preop picture, the nipple/areola is absent due to diagnostic breast biopsy. The abdominal incision is somewhat higher (mid-abdomen) than a traditional TRAM flap due to patient's history of prior lower abdominal wall surgery (hysterectomy, c-sxn x 2). These are very early post op images, and the scars are more prominent then they will be in the long term.
